The central objective of the BACKGROUND project is the development of a blended learning course aiming at sustainably improving competencies of adult education staff in the area of violence against women in different institutional environments with the main purpose of supporting women survivors of violence.
The course is developed with a modular blended learning approach consisting of a preliminary phase, a face-to-face training week with follow-up.
Blended learning is the combination of multiple approaches to learning. Blended learning can be accomplished through the use of 'blended' virtual and physical resources. A typical example of this is a combination of technology-based materials and face-to-face sessions used together to deliver instruction.
Most of the course modules and methodologies will be pre-tested by the partners on a national level and evaluated for the transfer to a European level (G3).
